Okay, so…. what is DNOW?
DNOW stands for Discipleship NOW
It’s a weekend of:
* Worship
* Large Group Teaching
* Small Groups
* Missions
* AND… Incredible fun with friends!
Basically, it’s a weekend long retreat/conference held right here in St. Joseph.
This year we are partnering with two local churches: Frederick Blvd & Cornerstone Christian Church
We will start Friday night with worship and teaching at Frederick.
Then we will “house” boys at one church, girls at another. When we get to the respective overnight churches, there will be time to just hangout, but most importantly, we’ll go into small groups based on grade to go deeper into what we’re learning.
The next morning, we’ll gather together to have worship and teaching, in the afternoon we will have a missions opportunity here in St. Joe. Then, we’ll have a surprise, large group activity!!!
We’ll finish out Saturday with more worship, teaching and small groups.
Saturday night, all students will return to their homes and are all encouraged to attend their respective churches the next morning, wearing their DNOW t-shirts.
The cost for the weekend covers the shirt, journal, food and anything else we do.
If you sign-up and pay by February 25, you’ll get the early bird price of $20.
Anytime after February 25, the cost is $30. (you may pay online or pay your youth pastor directly)
TWO IMPORTANT THINGS:
1) If you cannot afford the cost, there are scholarships available.
No student should miss this because of money.
2) Bring someone! You are ALL ENCOURAGED to BRING YOUR FRIENDS!!!
