Connection Groups
WHAT IS A CONNECTION GROUP?
Connection Groups are the core of our church. These small groups offer an intimate and personal environment to grow in God’s word, bind together in the love of Christ, to serve one another, and reach out to the community in accordance with the Great Commandment (Matt 22:26-40) and Commission (Matt 28:18-20). Every connection group has a fourfold goal, encapsulated in the LIFE acrostic.
· Learn and Obey God’s Word
· Invite people to become disciples
· Form deeper relationships
· Engage on acts of service
On Sundays, various groups are offered at 9:30 AM and 10:45 AM. Other groups meet throughout the week. Each class offers a unique community, open to receive all who come.
WHAT DOES A GROUP LOOK LIKE?
Each group explores what the Bible has to say in an age-appropriate way. In every group, you will hear a Biblically based lesson with an emphasis on application. “How does this apply to my spiritual life, my family, my marriage, my parenting, my career, my retirement?” Our teachers/leaders strive to balance content and relationship-fostering, thus a thriving Christian life.

Our crazy connection group is diverse in age, married & singles, biblically literate (well, most of us), and we love to laugh and cry together.

Verse by verse Bible study. Our mission is transforming lives through thoughtful study of God’s Word; conforming our lives into reflection of His son.

Jerry Schwichtenberg, Janne Otwell & Ron Specht
We are a class of seniors that have many different experiences in life. It gives our class many varied opinions of how God has worked in our lives. We are able to apply them to our Bible lessons. We share our lives with outreach and evangelism. Our class is known for our food and for our get-togethers. Class participation is encouraged by all to help give an understanding of the lesson we are on. The main word in each of our lessons is “why”. Come join us!

Caring for each other while growing in our faith thru in-depth studies of God’s Word, using historical, cultural, and biblical context.

Mixed age group with wide variety of vocations, life experiences and interests. Includes couples and singles who are bonding to seek God and His will and encourage one another. Acts 17:11

Ethan & Hannah Rehn~ Parents with Young Children
The Rehn Class is made up of parents with young children who want to be intentional about raising families contrary to culture. Each week they are studying the Bible to gain wisdom on how to improve family relations, raise their children and serve God.

A rag-tag bunch of misfits navigating life together. We are all different but we come together to share our lives. Caring for one another and believing Jesus.
We are doing our best to take God’s Word and live it out daily. All misfits are welcome to join our rag-tag crew!

A group of all ages coming together to share our lives, our challenges, and our blessings. The young learn from the old and the old from the young. We seek continuous improvement in the application of God’s Word to our lives and our service to others.

A group of women (all ages and stages of life) that enjoy studying God’s Word and sharing our lives together. Our class is made up of single, single-again and married ladies, busy with bible study and ministry. We welcome all women—”no boys allowed!”

Faith Huffman & Branson Callaway ~ Young Adult
We eagerly invite all 18-30 year olds, in whatever stage of life they may be, to come find a Christ-centered, supportive community. Join us as we grow together in our faith, learn how to apply what we learn in the classroom to our daily lives, and figure out “adulting” in a way that’s glorifying to God.
